Tigi is the odd one out, he is long-haired. He is a real guy, so hates combing! Combing is for sissies, he seems to think. Fortunately, a Norwegian Forest cat doesn't need daily grooming. To prevent matting it is sensible though to comb on a regular basis when the cat is moulting.

Tigi is a blue mackerel tabby with beautiful green eyes. In summer, when he has lost most of his winter coat, his stripes are more visible. But even then he still has a full collar and a beautiful bushy tail. He looks like a (blue) fox, the way he carries his tail together with that spring in his step....

Tigi is the one that regrets being an indoor cat. He often sits on the window sill and looks outside. But we do our utmost to keep him happy: supervised he can spend time in our back garden, unsupervised in our outdoor run. We also walk him on leash. He really loves walking and running in the great outdoors, meeting other cats & animals and climbing trees. In this way we can keep him satisfied and healthy.

Tigi is a well-balanced cat, not easily angered, excited or freightened. Even big dogs don't scare him. When he meets one, he sits and looks the dog boldly in the eye. In this way he never gets chased. Is Lynn a cat that acts before thinking ..... Tigi thinks - often twice - before acting! But when he acts, he can be really fast. He is an introvert and mostly keeps himself to himself. But he appreciates company, of both humans and cats, and he loves being cuddled.
